The Maccabi Aquatics Schools Program provides skilled swimming instruction in a happy, fun and nurturing environment. Our excellence and quality go hand in hand with our enthusiasm in equipping all our swimmers with the skills to be the best they can be.
Maccabi Aquatics is a Swim Australia registered and accredited swim school, as well as an AUSTSWIM accredited swim school. All our teachers hold AUSTSWIM/Swim Australia Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualifications, current CPR and WWC checks at a minimum.
Maccabi Aquatics offer school swimming at the Bialik College Ginglas Sports Centre. The pool is a 25m, 8 lane chlorinated pool with powerful UV filtration to maintain perfect water quality. The pool and surrounding air temperature are both heated to 29C – creating an ideal learning environment.
This program is aimed at students from Prep through to Year 6.
The Learn To Swim program offers swimming lessons to students at all levels, from beginner to advanced. Our sessions are conducted over shorter distances to ensure that students are able to learn and maintain correct technique and learn to swim with precision. We evaluate children based on their ability to accurately execute strokes rather than the distance they can swim, once evaluated we place them in the appropriate level.
The program also includes one water safety day to educate students on water awareness, survival and rescue skills.
